The class introduces basic ballet steps and exercises. The syllabus also further explores dance and movement aiding children's physical development, co-ordination, concentration, creativity and self-expression in a dance format. Prep dance includes ballet, tap, free movement and theatre craft.
Pupils may also work towards examinations with the IDTA following the Preparatory syllabus, if they wish. Examinations can be taken by pupils aged 5 years and above.
